Arab Thought Forum

The Arab Thought Forum (ATF)
The Arab Thought Forum (ATF) is an independent, pan-Arab, non-governmental organization established in 1981 on the initiative of His Royal Highness Crown Prince El Hassan bin Talal of Jordan and twenty-five eminent intellectual and developmental Arab figures, to promote greater linkages between the Arab thinkers and the process of public policy formulation. The Forum is a contribution of the contemporary Arab generation pushing ahead in the same path, towards the same great objectives of the Arab nation. Its tools are rational thinking, democratic dialogue, and creative interaction with other civilizations of the world. It organizes and participates in seminars, workshops and conferences, bringing together public officials with intellectuals, scholars, and non-governmental organizations from the Arab world and the international community. The principles, objectives, and activities of the Arab Thought Forum aim at the promotion of inter-Arabs as well as Arab-international co-operation.
